WELCOME
"At UMSV, we pride ourselves on building strong connections both on and off the field. As a member of our men's soccer team, you will have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with your teammates, coaches, and the wider UMSV community.
Our program also offers a competitive education that will challenge you both in the classroom and on the field. Our coaching staff is committed to helping you develop your skills and reach your full potential, both as an athlete and as a student.
But perhaps what sets UMSV men's soccer program apart is our ambition. We are a program that aims to compete for national trophies and represent our school with pride and distinction. We believe that with the right players and the right mindset, anything is possible"

University of Mount Saint Vincent Overview
UMSV puts great pride in the parts that make up its whole.
UMSV Location
The University of Mount Saint Vincent is located in Riverdale, NY - A picturesque and suburban in style, Riverdale is a part of New York City-in fact, it sits on the shore of the Hudson River, just 12 miles from Manhattan. You'll find quiet neighborhoods and lively commercial areas with movie theaters, shops, and restaurants. The area offers the beauty and safety of a suburb-with terrific access to the most exciting city in the world.
Just a bus or subway ride away, Manhattan is open around the clock. You'll find internationally acclaimed cultural institutions, cutting-edge theater and music, food from around the world, and, best of all, internships. About 35 percent of our undergraduate students -or 70 percent if you include student-teachers-have internships at places like MTV, Merrill Lynch, and NYU Medical Center. You can't beat the Mount for opportunities to work at leading companies and institutions.

DOLPHINS CULTURAL COMMITMENTS
RESPECT - Respect is an important component of personal self-identity and interpersonal relationships. We must respect and value ourselves so that the rest of the world recognizes us and respect us. Respect is learned, earned, and returned.
HUMILITY - We believe no individual is bigger than the program as a whole.
ACCOUNTABILITY - There are two types of accountability in our program: behavioral and performance. They are different but equally important to our mission.
GRATITUDE- We are grateful for the opportunity to be a Dolphin. Be thankful for each other and take care of one another. When you are grateful for the things in your life, big and small, you always seem to find more things to be grateful about.
REMEMBERING YOUR WHY - We don’t get burned out because of what we do, we get burned out because we forget why we do it.
CHOOSE TO BE POSITIVE/OPTIMISTIC - When you see the good, look for the good, and expect the good, you find the good and the good finds you.
